“ Fantastic experience from start to finish! Will return! Arrived just before happy hour ended and was able to get a few apps and drinks. The steak Au Poive app is top 10, amazing complexity and flavor! We also grabbed the shrimp pizza which was something different and fun, loved the crust. Both had old fashioned cocktails, good, but not amazing. We then went with the new york sour and metal rooster which were much better!. The French onion soup was good, not the best in Omaha but stiff competition. My hubby loved his wedge salad, hefty portion and good flavor! Dinner was amazing with the ricotta gnocchi. I can only describe it as fluffy carb pillows that were absolutely decadent!!! We will 100 return again. The only downside was the Short rib Wellington. It needs to leave the menu. Very dry, not even the demi glaze helped. It was the Sahara of a short rib. The waitress and manager handled with grace. Fantastic service ”
“ Timber Wood is our favorite brunch spot in Omaha. The atmosphere is cozy, the food is fabulous the staff is attentive and friendly. Make sure to call ahead with a reservation! If not, sitting at the bar is also fine. The bartenders are always friendly. ”
“ When I walked in, I was unsure if this was going to be something special. I say that because I go out to eat almost everyday. I normally go to the same place all the time, as I already know what Im getting and basically no surprises! The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed the perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The service? Absolutely outstanding. Nicki was Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable without ever being intrusive. You can tell they genuinely care about every guests experience. Now the food wow. Every dish was a masterpiece, both in presentation and flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and the combinations of flavors were creative yet perfectly balanced. From the appetizers to dessert, every bite was an explosion of taste. I highly recommend the steak and eggs, it was out of this world! Whether youre celebrating something special or just want an incredible meal, this is the place. Cant wait to come back! ”
“ Really good food and service highlights this always popular spot in Countryside Village. Great for brunch but good every time. Service has been excellent as well when I visit. Last week enjoyed the chicken biscuit with a coffee! ”
“ Fantastic place. Only downside is reservations needed on Fridays and Saturdays if you want a table. We ended up sitting at the bar which was totally fine but there is not a lot of seats at bar. We got lucky. Will definitely be back ”
“ I always enjoy this place for excellent food and service. Ossama was our server and he is an absolute gem. He has great recommendations, wonderful knowledge of the menu and really went above and beyond. The Shrimp Crab Cakes appetizer was delicious and I really could have just kept eating it in a larger portion as a main dish. My wife always gets the Cedar Planked Steelhead Salmon and goes back to it every times since it is so delicious. The Lamb Salisbury Steak was on special and was good but I would order something else the next time. I dont think my mind was ready for the Hunter Sauce and the steak otherwise tasted more like meatloaf. Not a bad dish but other things are better. It had a side of Grilled Four Cheese Bread Pudding that was out of this world and needs to be incorporated with another dish or put on the appetizer menu. Also, the Caesar Salad is very good. I have gotten the Beef Wellington in the past and should have gotten that again since it is a slice of heaven. By the way, get the FireBaked Focaccia it is amazing! I was a little disappointed they were out of the Charred Grapefruit Tonic so I could not get the Metal Rooster to drink as that has been my favorite. The 007 Barrel Buffalo Old Fashioned, Rabbit Punch, Margarita and Dirty Martini were all very tasty. Update September 2024 I got the Strawberries and Cream French Toast for brunch and it had to be in the top 5 best French toast Ive ever had. So rich and sweet! I also ordered a side of Biscuits and Gravy with was a great savory finish. Those in my group who got the Cast Iron Biscuit loved their meal and they must wake up early to make the biscuits because they are 1210 awesome. Finally, the breakfast tacos were delicious, smoky and savory simply amazing and wouldnt change a thing. Our server Maci was fast, friendly and helpful. Update October 2024 We enjoyed the brunch so much last time we brought our daughter who got the Cast Iron Biscuit and Mini Ricotta Pancake both excellent. Our server Bret was very attentive and informative. He recommended the Durum Foccacia as an appetizer which was rich and delicious. The Seasonal Cider was a treat. I expected the Pineapple Tumbler to be more sweet and was a little disappointed but it was a very fresh drink. ”
“ Another excellent find! Loved TWFB! Great open atmosphere. The scent of fired ovens lingering, great lighting creates a warmth about the whole place. The back shelf is filled with fine grade spirits, bourbon connoisseurs must try the Old Fashioned! Amazing, as was the jalapeno cucumber infused margarita! The Salmon was probably in my top 5 of all times, so delicious it was. Thank you for the great service and warm smiles, this will have to be a redo for sure! ”
“ Great food, great service and enjoyable time. Had the salmon and it was awesome. Daughter had the duck and son had a steak and both loved it! Plenty of seating and they have areas for big groups as well. ”
